According to WTVR 6 News, Richmond Animal Care and Control (RACC) will sponsor pet adoptions for Father’s Day weekend. By adopting a pet, owners will not get a pet to love, but they will also help the RACC shelter at 1600 Chamberlayne Avenue make space for other animals in need.
About the adoptions
Adoption fees will be waived on the following days and times:

- Saturday, June 14, 12 to 5 p.m.
- Sunday, June 15, 12 to 4 p.m.
