RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – There’s nothing like spending a summer day poolside. However, Madison Oaster with SwimRVA said a fun time splashing around can quickly turn into a tragedy.
“Drowning, it’s not like you see in the movies, it can be very silent, it can be very quick, it happens in a blink of an eye,” Oaster said.
When school’s out for summer, most kids can’t wait to put on their bathing suits and cannonball into the pool. But adults need to keep an eye out if they have young children, as Oaster says, they are the most at risk of drowning…
