RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – One of the busiest roads in Richmond’s southside is getting a major traffic change. Part of Midlothian Turnpike is shifting to just one lane as a way to slow down drivers.
The project is part of the city’s ‘Lighter, Quicker, Cheaper’ initiative, meaning temporary traffic changes can be brought in a faster manner to respond to neighbors’ concerns.
