A Sussex County man has been charged with the death last spring of a toddler who was run over on South 19th Avenue.
Hopewell Police said Jacob Thomas Joseph Gerard, 44, of Stony Creek, was arrested Aug. 27 for the incident that happened just before 6 p.m. on May 19. He has been charged with aggravated involuntary manslaughter and obstruction of justice, and is being held without bond at Riverside Regional Jail in Prince George County.
