Goat Yoga RVA is excited to announce the World Record Goat Yoga Benefit, a community event aimed at breaking the world record for goat yoga participation. Scheduled for September 20, 2025, at The Diamond, this event aims to foster awareness and compassion for individuals facing mental and emotional challenges. It also supports Pactamere Care’s initiative to offer animal-assisted companionship, love, and support to those in need throughout the Richmond area and beyond.
The World Record Goat Yoga Benefit unites wellness, community spirit, and the joy of giving back. Aiming to break the existing world record of 501 participants in a goat yoga class, each participant will play a role in something greater than themselves. By taking part, participants will help spread the healing power of animal companionship to those who need it most, all while leaving their mark in goat yoga history.
“As a fundraiser and a pivotal event for Pactamere Cares Inc., we eagerly anticipate uniting everyone to encourage a space that promotes mental and emotional well-being,” says Katie Evans from Pactamere Cares. “This isn’t just about setting records – it’s about creating positive change through Pactamere Cares’ animal-assisted therapy programs. We believe that the bond between humans and animals is a universal connection that knows no boundaries. Every person has the right to feel loved, respected, and valued, regardless of their financial situation. This fundraiser presents a chance for us to demonstrate the significance of these emotional connections. Through our interactions with animals and our relationships with one another, this event embodies that vision. It is a gathering where the community unites to uplift each other”.
