RICHMOND, Va. – There is a chance for showers and drizzle by the afternoon on Monday. The high will be in the mid 70s. A few showers and/or drizzle will remain possible tonight.
Tropical Storm Imelda will be tracking over the central and northwest Bahamas today as it moves northward. This track will keep it parallel to the Florida coast, but the center will remain well offshore. It will likely strengthen into a hurricane by Tuesday afternoon.
