PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) — A man is dead after he was shot near a Petersburg gas station on Monday evening.
At 5:19 p.m. on Sept. 29, officers with the Petersburg Bureau of Police were called to the 1900 block of E. Washington Street for a report of a shooting.
Footage shared by an 8News viewer shows there was a heavy police presence at a nearby BP gas station at the time.
