PHOTOS: Nearly $150,000 raised for suicide prevention at Out of the Darkness Walk

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — More than 1,000 people walked in Richmond on Saturday morning, raising nearly $150,000 for suicide prevention.

The 16th annual Out of the Darkness Walk was held at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4, and the walk began at 9:30 a.m., with participants walking along Vita Trail in Byrd Park. The event was also emceed by Showcase Host Melissa Chase.
