Man to spend nearly 20 years in prison for shooting Henrico driver in ‘road rage’ incident

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A man will spend nearly two decades in prison after he shot a Henrico County driverduring a “road rage” incident in late 2024, putting that driver in the hospital for months.

On Nov. 24, 2024, then-40-year-old Calvin W. Carter, Jr. of Henrico was shot while driving on Interstate 64 in Richmond. The shooting left him in critical condition.

As a result of his injuries, Carter spent months in the hospital and had portions of some organs removed…
