The Bellevue neighborhood will host its first Blocktoberfest on October 25th, closing the 1200 block of Bellevue Avenue to cars for an afternoon of food, music, and local vendors.
The event runs from noon to 4 p.m. and will span the commercial stretch between Lamont Street and Brook Road. Sponsored by Little House Green Grocery, Northside Grille, and the Bellevue Civic Association, organizers expect the celebration to become an annual tradition.
Chef Andrew of Little House Green Grocery will join Enoteca Sogno, Northside Grille, and Up All Night Bakery to serve a range of local dishes throughout the day. Visitors can also shop handmade and vintage goods from area artisans, including pottery by Kelly Redling Studios, art and stationery from Renée Stramel, and floral arrangements by Nicola Flora. Studio Art 1229 will hold an open house during the event…
