Virginia War Memorial celebrates U.S. Marine Corps 250th birthday

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – The Virginia 250 Commission held a celebration Friday at the Virginia War Memorial to honor the U.S. Marine Corps ahead of its 250th birthday on Monday.

The event featured re-enactors, patriotic music, guest speakers and a cake-cutting ceremony. Governor Glenn Youngkin was also in attendance.
