RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Several areas of Central Virginia and southeastern Virginia have been placed under a red flag warning from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
A “red flag warning” or “fire weather warning” has been placed into effect due to Gusty winds combined with low relative humidity and dry fuels that will result in the potential for dangerous fire behavior for the afternoon and evening of Sunday, Nov. 16, according to the Wakefield National Weather service.
These are the following Central Virginia areas under the warning:

- Brunswick County
- Caroline County
- Charles City County
- Chesterfield County
- The City of Colonial Heights
- Cumberland County
- Hanover County
- Henrico County
- The area of Dinwiddie
- The area of Fluvanna
- The City of Hopewell
- Lancaster County
- Louisa County
- Lunenburg County
- New Kent County
- Northumberland County
- Nottoway County
- The city of Petersburg
- Prince Edward County
- Prince George County
- King William County
- King and Queen County
- The City of Richmond
