Chesterfield Health District reminds people to stay up to date with respiratory vaccinations

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — This week marks National Influenza Vaccination Week, and Chesterfield Health District is encouraging people to stay up to date on immunizations to help protect their communities.

Health officials said most people get their flu shots in October in an attempt to stay safe throughout the season — as they last for six months.
