After now-infamous raccoon ransacks ABC store, Ashland wants to name it

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The now-infamous raccoon who ransacked an Ashland ABC store before passing out in the bathroom after getting drunk still doesn’t have a name yet, according to the town of Ashland.

The raccoon, now a repeat offender, has inspired T-shirts, a promotional campaign and cocktails. The merchandise campaign has raised more than $200,000 for the Hanover County Animal Protection Shelter as Dec. 11.

But the story is not over yet. The town of Ashland is now asking for help naming the neighbor…
