WASHINGTON — Virginia’s minimum wage will increase to $12.77 per hour on New Year’s Day 2026, marking a slight increase from the commonwealth’s existing $12.41 per hour.
The scheduled Jan. 1 increase after Democratic lawmakers in Richmond spent the earlier part of this year leading an effort to pass a larger increase.
