CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WWBT) – Chesterfield’s LaPrade Library is setting to reopen on Jan 26 after extensive renovations to modernize the building.
The library first opened in 1976 in a building on Hicks Road before moving to it’s current location at 9000 Hull Street Road in 2001.
Some of the new features include expanded meeting and collaborative spaces, a relocated building entrance, upgraded technology, new furnishings, enhance natural lighting, a makerspace, a reading porch, and outdoor activity space…
