Henrico Police still looking for man in connection to 2024 double homicide

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Henrico County Police Division is still looking for a man wanted in connection to a double homicide that took place two years ago in January 2024.

According to police, the now 20-year-old Terrence Jarell Morton-Swan, who goes by nickname “Rell,” has an outstanding warrant for shooting into an occupied dwelling.

Morton-Swan was described by police as a Black man with a slender build, brown eyes and black hair in braids that potentially go down to his shoulders.

Officials said he is known to frequent several areas in Henrico and Richmond, including:

  • Brookhaven subdivision
  • Village at The Arbors
  • Mallard Greens Townhome
  • St. Luke Apartments
  • Hilliard Road Apartments
  • Shockoe Valley View Apartments
