The University of Richmond women’s lacrosse team has never shied away from a scrap with some of the nation’s top Power Four programs, with big names like Stanford University and Penn State University falling to the Spiders in years’ past.
On Feb. 11, the Spiders marched into Charlottesville and claimed their latest ranked victory, 12-11, this time over No. 12/15 University of Virginia.
