RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – A judge denied bond Wednesday for the woman charged in a fatal hit-and-run that killed a 23-year-old magazine editor just steps from her workplace.
Hope Cartwright was a Michigan native, Northwestern University graduate who moved to Richmond right out of college to work as an associate editor at Virginia Living.
“I’ve been around a long time, and I’ve just never met anybody who’s so instinctually spot on with her projects, with managing her projects, with developing her stories, pitching her stories, researching, writing, always anticipating what I needed, usually before I knew I needed ‘em.
