RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Greater Richmond Transit Company (GRTC) riders will see temporary service changes on about a dozen routes starting on Sunday.
GRTC officials said these changes, which will be implemented starting on Sunday, Feb. 22, aim to improve service reliability and reduce last-minute cancellations, according to a Feb. 20 press release.
These changes will affect the 1, 1A, 5, 7A & 7B, 12, 14, 19, 20, 76, 87 and 79 routes. They come amid operator workforce shortages, which may lead to missed trips and same-day service cancellations.
