NOTTOWAY COUNTY — No charges will be filed by the Nottoway County commonwealth’s attorney in an officer-involved shooting in which a Midlothian man on the run died in a hail of gunfire from five law officers here last summer.
A Nottoway County deputy sheriff also was shot in the incident but the gunfire was ruled as unintential and that gunfire did not come from the man slain in the incident.
