In its first full month of operation, Petersburg’s Live! Casino Virginia generated more than $15 million in adjusted gross revenue and $2.7 million in state tax revenue, according to data released March 13 by the Virginia Lottery Department.
For the month of February, the department reported, Live! Casino’s total AGR was $15,018,420.87. Almost 75% of that, or $11.2 million, was generated through the casino’s 926 slot machines. The remaining $3.8 million came from the gaming tables.
