RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) -Virginia State Police are investigating a crash involving a tractor-trailer crash on I-95 in Richmond.
VSP says the driver of the tractor-trailer swerved for an unknown reason and hit the left Jersey wall near exit 69/Bells Road.
The tractor-trailer driver then overcorrected and collided with a white Chevrolet pickup truck before driving over the right-side guardrail down an embankment toward the Port of Richmond lot.
The crash also resulted in a diesel fuel spill into a ditch with standing water.
Richmond Fire is working on containing that spill.
According to VSP, the left and center lanes are still open to traffic…
