CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WWBT) – This weekend, the Chesterfield County Police Department will be stepping up patrols around Chesterfield Towne Center as social media chatter grows about a “teen takeover” in the mall’s parking lot on Saturday.
In a video message posted on YouTube, Chesterfield’s Police Chief Col. Frank Carpenter said the police department is working with mall management as concerns grow about the potential event.
