RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – The Virginia War Memorial hosted its first “Salute to Service Reunion Celebration” honoring Virginia veterans who served in Operation Desert Storm 35 years ago.
The event launches the Salute to Service Reunion Series, a multi-year program with future reunions planned for Vietnam War veterans in 2027, Global War on Terrorism veterans in 2028, and Cold War veterans in 2029.
