PETERSBURG, Va. (WWBT) – Police have confirmed the 11-year-old charged with manslaughter in the shooting death of 6-year-old Kaniya Burford-Adkins is her brother.
Burford-Adkins was killed inside her apartment on Navajo Court on March 10.
Manslaughter is not a charge many people would expect to be connected to an 11-year-old, and it raises questions about how prosecutors reached that decision…
