Pocahontas State Park in Chesterfield is hosting a full week of fun and educational programs from March 30 through April 5, 2026. Families can enjoy activities like the B.A.R.K. Ranger challenge for dogs, nature talks about toads and turtles, and hands-on programs for kids such as the Caterpillar Club. The Civilian Conservation Corps Museum will also be open most afternoons for visitors to learn about the park’s history and the origins of Virginia’s state parks.
