BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) – A Mechanicsville man is charged with breaking-and-entering and assault-and-battery after an incident Tuesday, according to the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office.
Kyle David Hinkle, 38, is being held at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail.
The afternoon of May 12, 2026, Bedford County deputies were called to a disturbance in the Big Island area, possibly involving a firearm, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
