The Fontana Police Department Traffic Unit has executed a search warrant and arrested a 15-year-old juvenile following an investigation into ongoing reckless e-motorcycle and e-bike operation within the city.
The investigation stemmed from a specific enforcement operation on May 21, 2026, at approximately 5:27 p.m. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on an e-motorcycle operator, who fled the scene and led law enforcement personnel on a pursuit through the Hunter’s Ridge area. The Fontana Police Department’s helicopter, Eagle 1, tracked the suspect from the air while motor officers followed on the ground. The pursuit was terminated after the suspect drove into a water channel tunnel, preventing officers from continuing safely.
