LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Regional Transportation Commission is urging residents and visitors to prepare for heavy traffic, high temperatures and holiday bus schedules over the Fourth of July weekend.
The RTC says it anticipates heavy traffic on the I-15 corridor as drivers travel between Southern California and Las Vegas. Peak travel delays are expected Sunday, July 5 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., with travel times at the Nevada-California state line projected to increase significantly during that time. If possible, the RTC is asking drivers to avoid the I-15 southbound at the state line during that window.
