Operation Consequences: Multi-Agency Sweep in San Bernardino County Results in 13 Felony Arrests and 29 Firearm Seizures

SAN BERNARDINO, CA – Between June 22, 2026, and June 28, 2026, investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department – Gangs/Narcotics Division, patrol deputies, and partnering law enforcement agencies executed 18 search warrants and contacted multiple suspects as part of a county-wide crime suppression initiative known as Operation Consequences. The operation targeted locations in Apple Valley, Morongo Basin, Fontana, Rialto, Adelanto, Colton, and Victorville. Concurrently, the San Bernardino Movement Against Street Hoodlums (SMASH) Street Enforcement Team (SET) conducted proactive patrols within San Bernardino and surrounding areas.

During the one-week operational period, investigators focused on contacting gang members and individuals legally prohibited from possessing firearms. The enforcement actions resulted in the seizure of 29 firearms, including three unserialized ghost guns, and led to 13 felony arrests…
