SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — Bend North Little League stayed alive in the Little League Northwest Regional on Monday with an 11-3 win over Abbott O’Rabbit Little League from Alaska.
Alaska jumped out to an early lead with three runs in the top of the first inning, but Bend North answered back. Bend scored one run in the bottom of the second, then broke the game open with six runs in the third and four more in the fourth.
Bend North will play again on Wednesday, August 12 against either Idaho or Washington. It will be aired on ESPN+. If they win that game, Bend North will play in the championship on Thursday, August 13 at 6 p.m…
