On Tuesday, July 28, California Highway Patrol (CHP) Investigators assigned to the Inland Division Cargo Theft Interdiction Program recovered more than $500,000 in stolen merchandise while serving a search warrant at a discount retail store in Rialto.
Through an extensive investigation, investigators determined the business was storing stolen cargo connected to multiple cargo thefts that occurred throughout Southern California. As a result of the operation, approximately $500,000 in stolen merchandise was recovered and returned to the victims.
