San Bernardino has received a $35 million state grant that will pay for temporary housing for the chronically homeless. The money, from the Department of Housing and Community Development, will finance construction of a facility next to the Lutheran Social Services’ San Bernardino campus at 1354 N. G St., according to a statement on the city’s website.
