MENIFEE (CNS) – A hiker who collapsed on a hillside trail southwest of Menifee Tuesday was airlifted to safety but ultimately declined medical treatment. The “hiker down” call was received at 1:44 p.m. in the hills north of Canyon Hills Sports Park, near Heather Ridge Road and Otay Way, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
