Early Wednesday morning, as the Bridge Fire continued to prompt evacuation warnings in San Bernardino County, two Ontario residents were caught in a strange situation that involved alleged drugs and the kidnapping of local wildlife. Deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, while patrolling the Mt. Baldy and San Antonio Heights areas, approached a “suspicious vehicle” parked illegally within the designated evacuation zone around 2:30 a.m., according to KTLA.
