Pedestrian Struck, Killed in Traffic Collision on Freeway in Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON, Calif., Sept. 13 (KNN) — An investigation is underway into the death of a pedestrian on the 10 Freeway in Bloomington late Thursday night.

The California Highway Patrol and the San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to a fatality on the westbound Interstate 10 Freeway just before the Cedar Avenue off-ramp around 11:20 p.m.

There were reports of a male adult running across lanes of the freeway. Ultimately, a vehicle fatally struck the man.

It is unknown why the man was running across the freeway. CHP shut down the number 2, 3, 4, and 5 lanes.

The CHP San Bernardino Office is currently investigating this incident.
