Boise State earns SoCal Corner Tahj Crutchfield’s Pledge

Boise State’s defensive backfield got better last week when they landed a pledge from 6’0 170lb Rancho Cucamonga defensive back Tahj Crutchfield. Crutchfield, a dynamic playmaker who can play any position in the def backfield projects as a corner for the Broncos. 247 Recruiting analyst Greg Biggins described Tahj as, “one of the most athletic defensive backs out West. He has battled some injuries over the last couple of years but when healthy, he’s a very talented cover corner who can play for anyone. He has a track background and clocked a 10.79-100m last Spring. He shined at the Under Armour Next Camp in Utah in June where he earned DB MVP honors after shining in the position and one on one drills. He has an athletic 6-0 frame, is fluid in his movement and can play a physical game. He has a lot of traits that translate well to the next level and we like where his game is currently trending.”
