The University of Hawaii women’s volleyball team recovered from Friday’s disappointment with a 25-16, 25-18, 25-16 sweep over UC Riverside on Sunday evening at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Hawaii, which fell to UC Davis in four sets on Friday , improved to 10-6 overall and 4-2 in Big West Conference play.

In her 100th consecutive start, Hawaii setter Kate Lang had a match-high 32 assists and six digs. Meanwhile, Caylen Alexander had a match-high 19 kills on 37 swings to go with eight digs.
Hawaii will play three road matches next, beginning with Cal Poly on Friday at 4 p.m. HST.
