Massive Southern California sting nets 29 arrests, guns, drugs

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department announced that they made 29 arrests, seized nearly a dozen firearms and recovered illicit drugs as part of their ongoing Operation Consequences.

According to an SBSD bulletin , a coalition of law enforcement agencies continued their probe into organized crime rings in and around the city of San Bernardino, including Chino, Fontana and Bloomington, over the last week.

The one-week period culminated in five search warrants being served on Friday at the following locations:

  • 19200 block of 4 th Street, Chino
  • 7300 block of Poplar Drive, Fontana
  • 1100 block of West Mill Street, San Bernardino
  • 18800 block of 14 th Street, Bloomington
  • 10700 block of Linden Avenue, Bloomington

Investigators contacted gang members and individuals prohibited from possessing guns during the service of the warrants, SBSD said. As a result, a total of 29 people were arrested – 11 on felony charges and 18 on misdemeanors – and 10 firearms, including one ghost gun, were seized.
