Dramatic Horse Rescue in Yucaipa: Tequila Freed from Ditch by CAL FIRE/Yucaipa Fire. November 4, 2024 – Yucaipa, CA – CAL FIRE officials report that at 2:25 p.m. on October 13, CAL FIRE/Yucaipa Fire Department responded to an urgent animal rescue call in a remote area near Wildwood Canyon Road and Canyon Road. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a horse named Tequila trapped upside down in a ditch, unable to escape.
