Heavy Rainfall Hits Inland Empire, San Bernardino Mountains in Southern California Overnight

As of 5 AM Friday, November 15, 2024, the National Weather Service reports significant rainfall across Southern California’s Inland Empire and mountain regions. Glen Helen Regional Park recorded the highest precipitation, with 0.55 inches. Other notable totals include San Sevaine with 0.51 inches and Lytle Creek RAWS at 0.44 inches. The San Bernardino Mountains saw steady rainfall, with Deer Creek Dam receiving 0.43 inches and Panorama Point 0.39 inches. Coastal areas, valleys, and desert regions, however, reported minimal or no precipitation. Despite the rain, the San Diego County coast remains dry, with only slight showers observed in local valleys and mountains.
