Escalade traffic stop leads to meth and firearm arrest in San Bernardino

SAN BERNARDINO, California — A traffic stop in San Bernardino led to the arrest of a driver after officers discovered methamphetamine and a firearm in the vehicle. The incident occurred during a saturation detail by the California Highway Patrol’s Rancho Cucamonga office.The driver of the Escalade was stopped for a license plate violation, according to the California Highway Patrol. Upon inspection, officers found methamphetamine and a firearm inside the vehicle. The driver was subsequently arrested for possession with intent to sell methamphetamine and illegal possession of a firearm. “We are dedicated to keeping our streets and community safer,” stated CHP.
