Costco is expanding and has announced six new locations scheduled to open in early 2025.
The membership warehouse giant will surpass more than 900 locations worldwide with the new additions, which are scheduled to open in March 2025.
Two of the new stores will be in Texas and two will be in California, a state where Costco opened its 897th store in Pleasanton on Nov. 27, with people camping out to be among the first to enter. The opening in Pleasanton set a new Costco mark for highest-ever opening day sales for a U.S. warehouse at $2.9 million, CEO Ron Vachris said earlier this month during a call with investment analysts on Dec. 12 .
