A 17-year-old girl was shot and killed in the unincorporated area of Mecca in Riverside County early Wednesday morning.
The girl, whose identity will not be released, was located by deputies just after 1 a.m. in the 91800 block of Avenue 66, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said in a news release .
