(FOX40.COM) — Two men were arrested at a Northern California casino for alleged drug and weapons charges, according to the Amador County Sheriff’s office. • Video Above: How to report a public safety threat
Around noon on Tuesday, ACSO was contacted by Jackson Rancheria Casino and Hotel security officers after hotel staff said they found drugs in one of their rooms. When deputies arrived at the scene, they learned that two men recently checked out of the room.
While processing the suspected drugs, casino security notified ACSO that the men returned to the parking garage of the casino. Deputies said the men were stopped as they attempted to leave the casino and placed under arrest.
According to ACSO, additional baggies of drugs, nearly one pound of suspected methamphetamine, and paraphernalia indicative of sales were located during a search of the vehicle. Two firearms, one that had previously been reported as stolen, were also located in the vehicle…
