Plane’s banner gets stuck in power lines during Riverside County emergency landing

A small, single-engine aircraft made an emergency landing in the city of Coachella on Friday evening, officials confirmed.

Cal Fire and the Riverside County Fire Department said the Cessna plane successfully landed in an open field near Calhoun Street and Avenue 49 around 5:30 p.m.

While the plane was landing, however, the banner that it had been pulling got caught in nearby power lines…
