Man Claims He Was Severely Injured on Magic Mountain Ride

CHATSWORTH (CNS) – Six Flags Entertainment Corp. was sued Friday by a man who alleges he was seriously injured while riding Magic Mountain’s Black Snake Summit water slide in 2024.

Christopher Michael Lavrar’s Chatsworth Superior Court lawsuit alleges negligence and premises liability. He seeks unspecified damages and compensation for wage losses. A Magic Mountain representative did not immediately reply to a request for comment.

According to the suit, Lavrar went to the Valencia theme park on June 15 and was on the water slide when he struck an “uneven, defective, cracked, broken and/or deteriorated portion of the tube and/or slide,” leaving him with a “severe injury and pain.”…
