The mother of a toddler seemingly abandoned at a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s station this morning has been located, authorities announced.
In a news release , officials with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said the child was dropped off in front of the department’s Victorville Police Station at 14200 Amargosa Road just before 10:30 a.m.
Details are limited and the circumstances around the incident are developing, but authorities said the child was dropped off by a person, only described as a Black male adult, who was behind the wheel of a black older model sedan.
Before locating the child’s mother, authorities had reached out to the public in hopes of locating the parents.
