Los Angeles Heat Alert: Valley Temps to Hit 100°F Friday Through Saturday Night

Los Angeles, CA – Triple-digit heat is expected to grip much of Southern California starting Friday morning, with temperatures soaring to 100°F across valleys and mountain areas through Saturday night.

According to the National Weather Service in Oxnard, a Heat Advisory is in effect from 10 a.m. Friday to 9 p.m. Saturday for the Los Angeles and Ventura County Valleys, Santa Monica Mountains, and the southern Salinas Valley. Cities under alert include Santa Clarita, Pasadena, Woodland Hills, Ojai, and Thousand Oaks.

Sensitive groups—including the elderly, children, and those without air conditioning—face heightened risks of heat-related illness.
